Polish ambassador to Tehran bids farewell to Mottaki

Polish ambassador to Tehran at the end of his tenure bid farewell to Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here Monday.
In the meeting, Mottaki said the two countries have common interests, so for promoting and deepening mutual ties, both countries should use all existing potentials and opportunities.
Foreign minister appreciated outgoing ambassador`s activities during his stay here in Iran and added historical ties between the two nations is a connection link.
He continued, `Exchanging views among senior officials of both countries is necessary for expansion of relations and existing potentials between Poland and Iran for cooperation is much more than current level of cooperation.
Shemidofeski expressed his satisfaction over his six-year mission to Iran and called bilateral relations `Friendly` and by referring to the old historical ties between the two countries said, `The Polish have always had a favorable feelings towards Iranians.
` Accepting 120,000 Polish refugees during the World War II into Iran is a clear indication of Iranian hospitality, the outgoing ambassador added.
He underlined the need of cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy.
