Sudan`s new ambassador to Tehran submitted a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki here Monday. Mottaki told the Sudanese diplomat that Tehran is ready to help in the case of Darfur as well as in the issue of relations between Sudan and Chad. Mottaki continued, `Iran and Sudan are two important countries in the Middle East and North Africa which have common interests and concerns. ` He also underlined the necessity of following up the signed agreements in bilateral ties between Iran and Sudan. The Sudanese new Ambassador to Tehran Soleyman Abdultavvab, for his part, emphasized bilateral strong ties and said Iran`s honor and credit in the world is the same as honor and credit of all Muslims in the world. He said Khartoum officials are ready to promote ties with Iran.
