President: Iranian government, people ready to help African states

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Monday that the Iranian government and nation are ready to help African countries get rid of global arrogance.
Ahmadinejad made the remark after receiving credentials of Djibouti`s new Accredited Ambassador Sahl Esmaeil Nur in Tehran.
Underlining the necessity for African governments to confront the phenomenon of exploitation, the president said that his country will help the oppressed nations attain such a goal.
He further referred to the attempts of bullying powers to secure their own interests by stirring up wars and conflicts in different regions of the world, noting that the era of bullying policies has come to an end, and that era of friendship, welfare and tranquility will start throughout the world.
Ahmadinejad underscored that the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to invest in African countries and cooperate with the oppressed nations.
Given the abundant potential for expansion of cooperation, Iran and Djibouti should boost bilateral relations, he added.
The accredited ambassador, for his part, thanked Iran for its assistance to African nations in their path towards progress and prosperity.
He underlined that Djibouti calls for expansion of mutual ties and utilization of Iran`s precious achievements and experiences in various fields.
