New Belgium Ambassador to Tehran Aura Guyons conferred here Tuesday with Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and submitted to him a copy of his credentials.
According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the meeting, Mottaki voiced Iran`s readiness for expansion of all-out relations with Belgium and described the two sides` capabilities as very extensive and diverse.
Highlighting the importance of the Persian Gulf as the hub for world energy resources, he said the security of the Persian Gulf region would be maintained through collective cooperation of the Persian Gulf littoral states and without the interference of foreigners.
