Mostafavi denies alleged Iranian attack on northern Iraq

Deputy Foreign Minister Mehdi Mostafavi on Monday strongly denied allegation about Iranian attack on northern Iraq and said that Iran has given proper responses to such allegations so far. He told reporters on the sidelines of NAM Conference on `Human Rights and Cultural Diversity` that Iran and Iraq enjoyed the best relations and all issues are being examined clearly. Mostafavi said that there is a series of issues concerning cross-border movements of armed groups who are operating against interests of both Iran, Iraq and Turkey. He said that Iran and Iraq have set up joint committee on border security and it is working currently. Mostafavi hoped that the joint committee would resolve the issues on border security.
