Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Ali-Reza Sheikh-Attar here Thursday addressed foreign companies that Iran guarantees foreign investment in its various economic sectors.
Sheikh-Attar made the remark in the `First Seminar on Trade and Investment Opportunities in Iran`, which is being held in Hong Kong, adding that despite all propaganda campaign waged by the US, foreign investment in the Islamic country has increased.

`We try to provide foreign investors with insurance coverage encourage them invest in Iran,` he said, adding, `Iran`s foreign ministry, particularly embassies and consulates, play key role in this respect.
` According to Sheikh-Attar, holding such seminars will help remove Iran`s negative image depicted as a result by the US propaganda apparatus.
