Mottaki: Iran, Norway enjoy high capabilities to broaden ties

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Norway enjoy very high capabilities which would help broaden mutual cooperation.
Mottaki made the remark in a meeting with outgoing Norwegian Ambassador to Tehran Ole Kristian Holthe.
Tehran sees no limits on further broadening of mutual cooperation with Norway, Mottaki said.
`Norway has adopted a realistic policy in dealing with regional and international developments and tries to pursue a just policy,` he pointed out.
Mottaki also extended an invitation to his Norwegian counterpart to pay an official visit to Iran and said Tehran welcomes exchange of delegations and continuation of talks between the two countries.
Mottaki thanked the sincere efforts of the outgoing Norwegian ambassador to Tehran during his tenure.
The outgoing Norwegian ambassador, for his part, lauded the cooperation of the Iranian foreign minister during his tenure and called his mission to Iran as very `significant`.
Referring to Iran`s historical, cultural, political and economic capabilities, he called for expansion of ties between the two countries.
