Visiting Moroccan Energy Minister Mohamed Boutaleb conferred on Tuesday with Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on expansion of mutual ties between the two countries.
At the meeting, Mottaki said Iran attaches importance to expansion of all-out ties with Arabic Morocco as well as countries in North Africa.
`We regard development, power and success of Moroccan as our own,` Mottaki said.
Referring to the exchange of visits between the two sides` officials, he said the two sides` high ranking officials are determined to increase level of mutual cooperation in various commercial, economic and industrial sectors.
The Moroccan king`s initiative on holding trade exhibition 2012 as a significant move and said Iran fully supports such a measure.
The Moroccan minister, for his part, said the aim of his visit to Iran was to prepare the grounds for expansion of economic and commercial ties at regional and international levels.
