Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said here Wednesday that Iran`s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency indicates the transparency of Tehran`s nuclear activities. `Our cooperation with the IAEA shows that our activities are transparent,` Mottaki told the outgoing Chinese ambassador to Tehran. He said some are trying to dictate their views and disturb the present atmosphere which is against the interests of China and Europe. He added that Iran and China are determined to promote ties, noting that Iranian and Chinese presidents` meetings in Shanghai and Kyrgyzstan are effective in future of the mutual ties. The Chinese diplomat for his part called for expansion of mutual cooperation, especially in the energy sector, given the 200-fold increase in volume of transactions in the post-1979 Islamic Revolution era. He voiced optimism about recent Iran-IAEA agreement and said, `We hope the process will produce favorable results. China is against using force to settle Iran`s nuclear problem and wants continued dialogue and negotiations in that respect. `
