Iranian, Spanish FMs meet at UN

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, who is New York to attend the 62nd UN General Assembly sessions, met with Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos.
Mottaki expressed Iran`s readiness to expand ties with Spain and presented a report on the latest developments on Iran`s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and also Iran`s peaceful nuclear program.
Referring to the increasing trend of ties, Moratinos said, `Bilateral relations are good and satisfactory and the Spanish companies are working in Iran actively and support expansion of activities of the firms.
` Concerning Spain`s prime minister talks with media on Iran`s nuclear program the day before, Moratinos said, `The prime minister underlined that the solution for Iran`s nuclear dossier would be only negotiation and any other measure except dialogue in this concern is not acceptable.
` Supporting Iran-IAEA talks, the Spanish foreign minister said, `Continuation of the talks is the proper solution for the issue.
