German Foreign Minister on Thursday stressed need for supporting IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei on his stand regarding Iran`s nuclear program.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier made the comment in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki on the sidelines of the 62nd UN General Assembly, asking Iran, to observe full transparency in order to finalize the matter.
Mottaki said, for his part, that the Group 5+1 are expected to support ElBaradei and the recent round of Iran-IAEA cooperation.
According to IRNA correspondent in New York, the two foreign ministers also talked about the latest situation in Iraq and the Middle East region.
